First a quick little story...
This is me, at 16ish, with my 1st day of real independence with my driving licence!!
It's winter, Northern Ontario, extreme weather + will sometimes making for scary driving conditions.
Trying to prepare me my dad took me out driving. He stressed the importance of looking at WHERE YOU WANT TO GO instead of where the vehicle may be uncontrollably sliding.
Focus is key.
He also walked me through and had me practice how to
- throw the vehicle into neutral
- the when/why that would be a helpful tool
- This can apply to your financial situation as well.
When you aren't comfortable with your $ situation it's so easy to panic
To feel overwhelmed. And maybe even frustrated at your progress.
Like my dad’s driving lesson, you have to shift into neutral (breathe) and shift your focus to where you want to go. Gather some helpful tools and advice and proceed with caution.
